Please Read Before Browsing...
Updated January 2019
My Fic Rec List has gone through a major update for 2019. I've removed the Tropes pages because it became too much to manage and since all the same fics are listed under pairings with attached trope tags, I've opted to delete the trope pages. To search for a particular trope, just choose your pairing and then click Ctrl+F and search for your preferred trope.
If your story is not on my rec list, it means nothing about you and the quality of your work, and all about me and whatever I currently prefer to read. This list is first and foremost for me to be able to go, "I really need a ____ fic to help soothe my anxiety/depression/frazzled nerves and distract me, and I know this is where I keep all of my favourite fics to re-read." If I read your story and reviewed at ANY point, then I have enjoyed it, so please don't base your opinion on yourself or your work on whether or not I added you here (even more so if your story was previously on this list and I've since removed it for my own personal reasons). If I added EVERY fic I've ever read and even remotely enjoyed, I would have to pay money to upgrade this website to have the memory needed to hold everything.
I think of this list like my Netflix queue. I might have enjoyed watching Friends, but you won't find it permanently in my queue. Parks and Recreation, however, is stuck there until the end of time because I rewatch that over and over again.
Warnings: While I’ve tried to categorize the Fics I’ve listed, 99% of them are rated anywhere from K-Fiction to Explicit. This can include mature themes such as language, violence, graphic lemons, non-con, dub-con, torture, abuse, etc. I don’t know specifically, so please read the Warnings on each individual fic. The trigger warnings I specifically use are:
Since the Works in Progress on my Current Reading List are not finished yet, I do not outright recommend them because, for all I know, the author might throw in a Hagrid/Dobby lemon in the last chapter and, let’s face it, no one wants to read that. However, I am linking the Works in Progress that I am perusing at my leisure because I support fellow writers and want them to get as much traffic and cheers as possible. Works in Progress are usually kept for one year, if not updated, then they are deleted from the list (because my memory is shit, and I've likely forgotten what I've read).

The trigger warnings I specifically use are:
- Kink (which can include BDSM, bondage, or D/s relationships).
- Non-Con (rape; when at least one character refuses consent and is ignored).
- Dub-Con (different from Non-Con in that consent is often unavailable such as if a couple is simultaneously drugged. Also Marriage Law fics where characters are forced by a government to procreate; for those I've offered a "Dub-Con via ML" to specify).
- Abuse (generally of children).
- Disorder (mental, eating, self harm, etc).
